Primer, Foundation, Concealer
To me, a good primer is absolutely key to starting your make up routine- after moisturizer, that is. My favorite primers to use are the Becca First Light Priming Filter and the Fenty Beauty Primer. They just help keep your face smooth and beautiful all day. Next is foundation, my all time favorite is the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Foundation. It is incredible! I wear color 180. I have been using this foundation for almost a year now and have yet to stray from it. It is buildable if you need extra coverage and it does its job. Next up is concealer. I have two favorite concealers that I adore. First, all time favorite is the Tarte Shape Tape and I wear the color light. Next, the Fenty Beauty concealer which works beautifully with the foundation. All of these are must haves in my opinion!
Setting Powder, Blush, Bronzer, Highlighter
There are so many great setting powders, blush, bronzers, and highlighters out there. I am anxious to try all the pretty options.
As for setting powders, I am always in the market to try something new especially when the weather changes. I have two favorites that I am using in different places on my face. The first, is the Fenty Beauty Setting powder in Lavender. OH MY goodness! This stuff is just incredible and brightens the dark under eye area like I have never seen. It also holds up so well during a workout- which isn't always the case with powders. Next, I love the Becca Soft Light Blurring Powder for all over my face. I use a fluffy brush and just dust this all over after I finish my foundation and concealer. Both are just amazing!
When it comes to bronzers, my favorites totally depend on the seasons. First, I love the Becca Sunlit Bronzer. However, I also have been obsessing over a Maybelline palette that is amazing, called the Face Studio Master. This one is great because it has both bronzer and blush in it. As for highlighter, I love Champagne Pop by Becca!
Before I do anything relating to my eyes, I always start with MAC Paint Pot for a primer. I really feel this helps my eyeshadow last all day! After I apply the primer, I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe on my eyebrows. Then, to help the eyebrows stay in place (because mine are crazy) I use the Anastasia brow gel. Once the brows look good, I use the Too Faced, Natural Eyes palette. I am in love with this palette! I have been using it for weeks and haven't even touched other palettes. On the weekends, I do glam up my eyes with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette (it is a great one if you love shimmery colors)! Once all my shadows are on, I line my eyes with the Stila liquid liner. Then, time for lashes! I use the following in this order- Loreal Voluminous Primer, IT Cosmetics Superhero, and finish with Lancome Monsieur Big mascara. That is the best line up around! My lashes are also long thanks to Rodan Fields lash boost- love this stuff!
